Policewomen of Cincinnati

We’ve lived in the Cincinnati area for nearly twenty years now.  My kids remember driving into the city from our home in Northern Kentucky and seeing the Cincinnati skyline at night.

I still enjoy the cityviews and over the last couple of weeks I’ve seen the good and the bad in the TLC show Policewomen of Cincinnati.

It reminds me of the condition of most of us.  On the outside we do our best to present a favorable image, but inside is something else.

The religious leaders of Jesus’ day were preoccupied with the rules and He called them on it:  “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness.  So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. (Matthew 23: 27-28)

Still love that skyline though.
