The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.

Luke 8:38-39

Tonight Patrina and I and several hundred others listened as a group of women described and demonstrated how their lives have been changed. They left a world of addiction and have embraced the work of God in their lives and they are anxious to tell others, much like the man in the verse above, now in his right mind.

What is the most valuable thing you can do today? Where can you have the greatest impact with your time and effort?

There are skeptics who state that the New Testament does not refer to Jesus as God, yet in the verse above we see one eyewitness account of just that. Jesus instructed the man to tell others in his hometown just “how much God has done” for him. And how did he respond? He proclaimed “throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.
