Yes, the heavens tell the big story of God’s existence and the words of creation go “to the end of the world” (Psalm 19:4a). But, God did not leave the work of communicating his message to the universe, God delivered His word through the prophets –

The law of the LORD is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise the simple;
the precepts of the LORD are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure,
enlightening the eyes;

Psalm 19: 7-8

Consider the consequences of applying God’s word into our lives from the verses above:

• God’s law revives our soul. We move from death to life from the power of God’s word.
• God’s word brings wisdom to our minds. As Isaiah wrote – “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.  “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,  so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55: 8-9).
• God wants us to experience the fullness of life and His principles lead us to human flourishing and joy in our hearts.
• God’s commands are pure and bring enlightenment – “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet
      and a light for my path” (Psalm 119: 105).
